About High Position

The inception of High Position Ltd goes back to 1995 when ParkerDart was established. Originally set up as a web design company, founder partners Shaun Parker and Steve Dart quickly realised that although the internet was still in the early stages it was going to become a phenomenal form of media and an extra dimension would be needed if they were to stay ahead of their game.

Internet users will simply use a search engine to find the products or services they are looking for. It has long been proven that very few users will look at sites that are not listed on the first two or three pages of the search engine. Therefore, website owners need to be at the top of the search engine results, or as near as possible, for a hope of being accessed by internet users. Once on the website, they need to find exactly what they are looking for or they will just leave. This is where search engine optimisation comes in. Making sure a site is at the top of the search engines and that it contains relevant information to the searches that delivered the user to them is vital.

The realisation of where this was headed led to ParkerDart initialising a revamp in 2002 saw High Position emerge to become a top SEO company in Europe and a force to be reckoned with, regularly gaining ever more prestigious clients as their reputation supersedes them.
